Zachary Berger Associates, Ltd. is pleased to offer our Design-on-Site ^SM service. While a majority of our business is to do entire property master planning in our studio, not every project requires an elaborate master landscape plan. We have found that many homeowners have established landscapes that they wish to rearrange a bit and/or add plants. Some of our clients have interest in installing plants themselves and benefit from our artistic guidance & experience in selecting quality plants at nurseries. This focused approach makes our Design-on-Site program an excellent choice for efficient, yet affordable garden planning.

Here's how it works:

1. Request a Design-on-Site consultation: Simply fill-in the contact form or call us directly: (603) 662-5453
   

   	This service involves 3.5 hours of both on property & nursery design consultation combined.
   	This service is ideal for foundation plantings, border gardens and other sections of your property.
   	This is a design consulting service only. Specific locations are physically marked but no plans will be drawn. (If you desire a drawn set of plans, please contact us for cost estimates.)
   	It is not meant to substitute a complete master landscape plan (typically a 25-45 hour project).
   	The actual installation is to be done by you or an installer of your choosing.

2. We schedule a consultation at your property where Zachary will Design-on-Site (about 2 hours total):
   

   	Garden areas are determined together with you & marked out with flagging & paint.
   	Specific plant locations are flagged.
   	A plant list is generated to take to the nursery. This list will be based on light & soil conditions; appropriate colors, textures & forms; and consideration of home style, surrounding landscape & your own personal tastes
   	If necessary, walkway, patio & wall areas will be marked-out as well with suggested materials being listed
   	Materials estimates can be determined at this point for budget and planning purposes
   	Written installation guidelines are supplied to you.

3. Finally, we meet at one of the garden centers in the area with plant list in hand & select plants. This will be on a "nursery day" where we will schedule time at the nursery just for your project (about 1.5 hours):
   

   	Plants on the list are located & selected or appropriate substitutions can be made if necessary.
   	The order is placed with the nursery for either pick-up by you or delivery when your site is ready for planting.
   	Written maintenance guidelines are provided so you can keep your gardens beautiful after planting.
